Stringtown competes at the SPBGMA International Band Competition

from The Anderson News, Nov. 20, 2002 -- The Anderson County Middle School was alive with some of the finest Bluegrass Music in Kentucky on Saturday night, Nov. 16. Over 300 spectators attended "A Night With A Legend," J.D. Crowe concert. The four-hour show included performances by the Dean Osborne Band, followed by Anderson County's own Stringtown, and then concluded with Grammy Award winner J.D. Crowe and The New South. The night of entertainment was sponsored by Yesterday's Cafe and was well-received by the community and by patrons from throughout the state.
